Brighton Liu (刘博)
Brighton Liu is a singer, music producer, and the driving force behind Chinatown Music. Over the years, he has established himself as one of the most active and versatile artists in the Chinese music community in Australia, bridging cultures through music and live events.
Born into a musical family, Brighton’s two-decade-long stage career began with classical piano and vocal training. Before launching his own EPs and albums, he worked as a demo singer and backing vocalist for major artists and producers in Beijing, China. After relocating to Australia in the early 2000s, he immersed himself in the local music scene, performing and producing events at world-class venues, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, and Melbourne’s Crown Casino. His musical style blends pop, alternative, and experimental elements, pushing creative boundaries while staying true to artistic expression.
Beyond the stage, Brighton has expanded his expertise into various areas of music production, including mixing & mastering, vocal production, and artist development. His diverse background in pop, R&B, hip-hop, electronic, and rockallows him to adapt to evolving trends while maintaining a focus on authenticity and artistry. With over a decade of experience in artist development and performance training, he has helped emerging artists refine their sound, enhance their stage presence, and build sustainable careers in music.
Brighton is also the founder and producer of ReCharge Live House and Music Festival, a platform dedicated to showcasing independent musicians in Sydney, across Australia, and internationally. In addition to his work in music, he has lent his vocal talents to TV networks, narrating for news, documentaries, and advertisements, and has also built a career as a video producer specializing in music-related content.
